Welcome to Almsie. These terms explain the rules for using our website and services. By using the site, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Orders are also covered by our Terms of Sale.
1. Using our site
You must be 18 or over to place an order. Please give us accurate information, and keep your account details safe: you're responsible for anything done through your account.
2. Our products and information
We work hard to describe and photograph our products accurately, but colours can vary between screens. The Almsie Snatched Brief is shapewear, not a medical device, and the information on this site is general information, not medical advice. Results vary from person to person, and customer reviews reflect individual experiences.
3. Orders, prices and payment
Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept by emailing your order confirmation. Prices are in pounds sterling and may change at any time, but changes never affect an order we've already confirmed. Full details are in our Terms of Sale.
4. Delivery and refunds
How we deliver is set out in our Shipping Policy. Size swaps, refunds and your right to cancel are set out in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
5. Wearing it safely
If you're pregnant, have recently given birth, are recovering from surgery such as a C-section, or have a condition affecting your tummy, skin or circulation, speak to your GP or midwife before wearing compression garments. If you're new to shapewear, build up gradually from a few hours a day. Stop wearing it if you feel pain, numbness or discomfort.
6. Reviews and content you send us
If you send us a review, photo, video or comment, you agree that we may use it on our website, social media and marketing, with your first name and initial. You confirm it's your own and that it's honest. We may edit content for length or remove anything that's offensive or unlawful.
7. What you mustn't do
Please don't use the site for anything unlawful or fraudulent, try to break or overload it, upload viruses or harmful code, or copy our content. Automated access, such as bots or scrapers, needs our written permission.
8. Our content
All text, images, videos, designs and branding on this site belong to Almsie or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law.
9. Other websites and tools
Our site may link to other websites or use third-party tools, including Shopify, which powers our store. We're not responsible for their content or how they work. Shopify provides the platform but isn't the seller.
10. Mistakes on the site
Occasionally the site may contain errors, for example in a price or description. We'll correct them as soon as we can, and if an error affects your order, we'll contact you before going ahead.
11. Our liability
We provide the site with reasonable care and skill, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or free from errors. We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable or that result from events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
12. Suspending access
We may suspend or end your access to the site if you break these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live, and you keep any protection given to you by the mandatory law of your country.
14. Changes and general terms
We may update these terms; the latest version is always on this page. If any part of them is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent.
