Refund policy
We want you to love your Almsie Snatched Brief. If you don't, we'll put it right. This page explains exactly how, in plain English.
Our 90-day guarantee
Wear your brief for up to 90 days from the day it's delivered. If it doesn't fit, or it simply isn't for you, email us at hello@almsie.com within those 90 days and choose one of two options:
- A free size swap. We send you a brand-new brief in the right size, delivered free. One swap per order.
- A full refund. We refund the price you paid for the brief to your original payment method.
You don't need to send anything back. Our briefs are worn next to the skin, so for hygiene reasons we can't take worn, washed or opened items back or resell them. Instead, you keep it, and we resolve things without a return. That's what makes it genuinely risk-free.
Faulty, damaged or wrong items
Please check your parcel when it arrives. If anything is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll send a replacement or refund you straight away. This doesn't count as your size swap, and it doesn't affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
How to ask for a swap or refund
Email hello@almsie.com with:
- your full name and order number
- which item(s) it's about
- whether you'd like a size swap (and the new size) or a refund
A real person replies within 24 hours, usually much sooner. Please don't post anything back to us unless we've asked you to in writing, as unrequested parcels can't be processed.
When your refund arrives
Once approved, refunds are sent within 5 working days to the card or account you paid with. Your bank may take a few extra days to show it.
What the guarantee doesn't cover
- Requests made more than 90 days after delivery (or more than 30 days for faults, damage or wrong items, unless the law says otherwise)
- Free gifts and bonus items, such as the e-book or gift card included with a bundle
- Gift cards
- Items bought from anyone other than Almsie
Your 14-day right to cancel (UK)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you can cancel your order within 14 days of delivery. Because these are intimate garments, this right only applies to items that are unworn, unwashed and still sealed in their original packaging. To cancel, email us within 14 days; we'll explain how to send the sealed item back, and refund you within 14 days of receiving it. Return postage is paid by you unless the item was faulty or sent in error. Of course, our 90-day guarantee above usually makes this unnecessary.
Please talk to us first
If something's wrong, email us before raising a dispute with your bank. We answer every message and we'll almost always fix it faster. We may decline guarantee requests where we see clear misuse, for example repeated claims or orders placed with the intention of claiming a refund.
